Senior Azure Solution Architect
About the role
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing application architectures on Azure.
- Define application modernization strategies (monolithic to microservices).
- Work with development teams to implement cloud-native solutions.
- Design API strategies, integration patterns, and event-driven systems.
- Ensure adherence to design principles like resilience, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and release management.
- Evaluate and select Azure PaaS services (App Services, AKS, Functions, Logic Apps).
- Participate in code and architecture reviews. Required Skills
- Strong experience with Azure application services (App Service, AKS, Functions).
- Proficiency in application architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven).
- Experience with REST APIs, integration, and messaging systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Programming background preferred (e.g., .NET, Java, Node.js).
- Understanding of security best practices for applications.
