The People and Organization Development Office leads the implementation of the People Plan, a holistic long-term plan that engages and supports employees throughout their tenure at SFU. This Office encompasses learning and development, wellness and recovery, leadership growth and administrative services such as recruitment and retention.
About the Role
This position will also work closely with the Human Resources and Labour Relations Office which creates and maintains the framework and processes that allow our people to thrive. This Office holds strong relationships with our employee groups, and oversees our HR data systems, collective agreements, compensation and immigration services.
Primarily responsible for performing confidential clerical, secretarial, and administrative duties supporting employment, labor relations and negotiations, diplomatic, external relations, and governance activities for the University in academic and staff human resource departments and for senior academic and administrative executives.
The Human Resources Administrative Services Team is seeking someone with experience in working with a Human Resources Information System (preferably PeopleSoft). This person should bring a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities with strict deadlines. They should be capable of working independently while also supporting the goals of the larger team.
