Your Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of regular civil maintenance programs.
  • Prepare designs, specifications and drawings.
  • Conduct inspections, technical analyses, and feasibility studies.
  • Provide support on equipment and/or system breakdowns and malfunctions.
  • Collect and perform analysis on maintenance data and perform audits.
  • Provide support to operational safety programs and initiatives as required.

Your profile

  • College Diploma in civil engineering technology;
  • Eligible for certification with the Quebec Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OTPQ);
  • Minimum of five (5) years related progressive civil technical experience;
  • Familiar with the Provincial Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulations for Construction Projects, and the Federal Canada Labour Code (Part II);
  • Knowledge of project management processes and techniques, as well as budgeting and administrative processes;
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing;
  • Working knowledge of current inspection, maintenance, design and installation techniques and practices;
  • Availability for medical testing to meet the physical requirements of the position;
  • Proficiency in applicable computer applications, tools and related office software (Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.);
  • Valid Class G (ON) or Class 5 (QC) driver's license and insurable driving record.
