At RBC, we are searching for a dynamic Senior Manager, Planning & Initiative Delivery to join our Value Office Delivery Team. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational discipline, workforce transparency, and continuous improvement across our Delivery Team – supporting some of RBCs most strategic initiatives.
As a member of the Value Office, you will contribute to one of the largest Project Management Offices in RBC and be part of a collaborative team that accelerates value creation, fosters Agile ways of working, and drives continuous improvement. You will work with diverse stakeholders and senior leaders, helping to ensure our delivery teams are positioned for success.
As part of the Value Office Delivery Team, you will provide operational and analytical support to enable effective business assignment tracking across the 60+ person Delivery Team. You will lead key delivery management routines including allocation planning, headcount and contractor tracking, capability assessments, cost tracking metrics, and communications coordination. You will maintain high standards of data accuracy and reporting transparency, enabling informed decisions by senior leadership.
What will you do?

Elevate Data Management - Build and maintain monthly and quarterly reporting using advanced Excel and data analysis skills and contribute to insights that will assist in forward planning and decision making. Maintain consistency and cadence in these recurring routines (e.g., monthly reports, FTE reconciliations).

**Proactive approach to insights & data - **to support allocation decisions that deliver impact with transparent and thoughtful prioritization of assignments.

Evolve Operational Effectiveness - Create and coordinate team operations, including onboarding of new practitioners, and supporting effective and efficient handoffs to new assignments.

Foster collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups - Communicate clearly and professionally with partners across HR, Business Management, and Delivery Leadership.

Provide consistency and efficiency in communications - craft engaging team-wide communications and announcements for joiners, leavers, and events as well as leader support in key comms events. Drive effective change management on communications.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:****
- Advanced Excel and data analysis proficiency, with experience in building and maintaining reporting dashboards
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, capable of managing multiple concurrent priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
- Collaborative across many functions, in a fast-paced environment with an ability to grasp unique business lines priorities.
- Experience managing workforce data in a large organization.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and process consistency.
- Curiosity to understand the Personal Banking organization structure and key business priorities.
Nice to have:****
- Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Smartsheet).
- Familiarity with HR/workforce systems (e.g., Workday, Planview, or internal FTE tracking tools).
- Experience leading retrospectives, workshops, or capability assessments.
- Process improvement or Agile background, with a focus on streamlining administrative routines.
- Ability to design polished slide decks or leadership updates for senior audiences.
- Change management experience or certification.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma.
