The Corporate Services branch within the Ministry is seeking a highly motivated, service oriented individual for the position of Operational Services Coordinator.

Reporting to the Manager of Planning, Operations and Accommodations, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement and stakeholders to handle the Ministry's office building issues, activate and deactivate phones, order furniture, provide building access cards, manage the ministries parking pool, lead office moves and help with the daily mailroom processing;
  • Procurement and property management; and,
  • Developing and implementing new procurement and operations policies, procedures and processes through the ministries.

Success in this role demands:

  • Strong working knowledge of government and Ministry policies, procedures and systems regarding equipment, procurement, IBC phones, security access and CVA usage; as well as computer software applications including spreadsheets and word processing;
  • Analytical, attentive to detail and able to accurately complete multiple tasks with varying priority levels and timelines; and,
  • The ability to work independently on various tasks as well as part of the operations team.

Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through the completion of two years of post-secondary school education in business administration, or equivalent related education and experience.

Travel may be required in this position, as the Ministry has several field offices throughout the province.
