Evening Shift Lead Hand – Lethbridge

Working as an Evening Shift Lead Hand in the trucking industry is a rewarding opportunity for experienced technicians who take pride in leading by example. In this role, you will help guide the evening shift team while continuing to perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy duty trucks. Your leadership helps ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard while supporting both technicians and customers.
You will play an important role in maintaining workflow, supporting technicians on complex repairs, and ensuring trucks are returned to service as quickly as possible.

You will work with a knowledgeable and supportive Service Manager who values teamwork, professionalism, and strong shop culture. Evening shift team members are trusted to manage workflow independently while maintaining strong communication with leadership and the day shift team.
Your experience and leadership are valued, and your ability to mentor and support other technicians will play a key role in the success of the shop.
Trained Well
You will have access to OEM training, technical resources, and continued learning opportunities. As a senior technician and lead hand, you will help mentor apprentices and developing technicians while continuing to build your own technical expertise.
Paid Well
Our compensation package offers stability, strong earning potential, and long term career opportunities.
Hourly wage: $47.61 – $53.11 depending on experience

What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy duty trucks and equipment
Provide leadership and technical guidance to technicians and apprentices on the evening shift
Assist with coordinating workflow to ensure repairs are completed efficiently
Communicate with service advisors and management regarding job progress and priorities
Support troubleshooting of complex repairs and ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive shop environment
What We’re Looking For
Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Technician certification
Strong knowledge of truck diagnostics and service operations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Leadership mindset with the ability to support and guide other technicians
Valid driver’s licence required (Class 3 preferred)
