About the role
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 8 years of work experience.
- Advanced knowledge in translating business rules to technical data requirements.
- Advanced SQL knowledge.
- Expertise in building data warehouses.
- Advanced knowledge of user story development, data warehouse design and modeling (3rd normal form and dimensional modeling), data integration design and development and/or performance tuning.
- Excellent skills in coordination with multiple teams for project execution and issue resolution.
- Demonstrated oral/written communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex technical information while inspiring and motivating others.
- Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced knowledge of work estimation, design review, code review and data testing techniques.
- Willingness to play multiple roles for different projects, e.g., data analyst, developer, tester, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of big data platforms (e.g., DataBricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (e.g., Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL
