Position Summary:

The Lead Host/Hostess plays a key role in shaping the guest experience from the moment they arrive. This position requires a confident, organized, and service‑driven individual who can guide the host team, maintain smooth front‑of‑house flow, and uphold our commitment to exceptional hospitality and ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and excited to dine with us..

Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee the reservation system, guest waitlist, and table rotation to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to voice messages in a timely manner.
• Monitor dining room status, track table turns, and coordinate seating to support service pacing.
• Greet guests with genuine warmth, manage check‑ins, and anticipate guest needs while they wait.
• Lead, train, and support the host team to deliver consistently warm, professional guest interactions.
• Maintain a calm, positive presence during busy periods while ensuring hosts follow proper procedures.
• Communicate clearly with servers, management, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow.
• Assist with bussing, resetting tables, running food, and accommodating large parties when needed.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and respectfully.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and appearance at the host stand and entrance area.
• Support management with opening/closing duties and daily operational tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous hosting or front‑of‑house experience required; leadership experience is an asset.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Confident, friendly, and able to lead by example in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable guest experiences.
