The Opportunity As a Financial Analyst, you will support corporate functions with planning, reporting, and analysis activities. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial insights that drive informed decision-making and strategic planning for corporate services.
What You'll Do Financial Planning
- Oversee the financial planning process for OMA and project-related expenses, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Develop models to support scenario analysis, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial forecasts with operational goals and identify risks and opportunities.
Financial Analysis
- Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports and dashboards to senior management and business partners.
- Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis, identifying key drivers and providing explanations for variances against budget and forecast.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and corporate policies
Stakeholder Management
- Provide financial guidance to non-financial stakeholders, translating financial information into actionable insights.
Process Improvement & Best Practices
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, reporting tools, and systems to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead adherence to financial policies and internal controls within the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA designation preferred).
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with financial systems and reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for various audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
