About The Role The Marketing Specialist will sit in the Toronto, Ontario office and be responsible for support across multichannel marketing campaigns through coordination, execution, and reporting.
The ideal candidate has a wide knowledge of digital marketing tools—with solid competency in both design and copywriting—as well as excellent time management, creativity and drive, and enthusiasm for purpose-driven work as part of a close-knit team.
Responsibilities
- Slide design in PowerPoint: Work with presenters to draft slides for internal and external presentations and webinars that meet brand guidelines.
- Google ads and PPC campaigns design and execution; reporting on ad performance.
- Coordinate ad placements with industry associations and media: ensure artwork and text meet specifications.
- Coordinate with Inside Sales Rep teams on email campaigns in MailChimp and/or CRM.
- Coordinate/execute social media (LinkedIn) campaigns for RLG as well as public outreach to encourage recycling.
- Support sales team with maximizing industry association outreach opportunities as well as decision-making.
- Coordinate webinars and video recordings, as well as record video for social and for the RLG website, YouTube, etc.
- Website maintenance (updates, adjustments, changes) and foundational graphic design.
- Presentation skills: For occasional webinar moderation, presentations, etc.
What we need from you
Key Skills And Experience
- Excellent writing and visual design skills—and bonus points for photography, social media reels, etc. (If it’s creative, you embrace it! And if you don’t know something, you love to learn it!)
- Fluency in traditional digital marketing tools, such as Canva, Wordpress, Elementor, Monday.com, MailChimp, Microsoft Suite, and the like.
- Self-starter and go-getter: Takes ownership of projects, as well as any needed learning, and embraces new challenges with energy.
- Ability to use AI for content creation thought smart prompting that leads to superior content creation.
- Can juggle multiple projects at once while ensuring high-quality output; doesn’t miss deadlines.
- Upbeat, energetic, creative, decisive, curious—thrives in fast-paced environment where the learning never stops.
- 3 - 5 years marketing experience
- Ability to understand complicated B2B products and marketing strategy in the realm of environmental compliance
- Potential for some travel (1-2 times a year, to conferences or other RLG offices)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
