Rambler Fabrication is now looking to add aQuality Control Inspector Leadto the team.
Role & Responsibilities:

File, organize and maintain documents in a timely and accurate manner,
-
Prepare project deliverables including, quality plans, inspection and test plans, and turnover plans,
-
Possess strong knowledge of welding processes; (GTAW, GMAW, RMD, FCAW, SMAW),
-
Possess strong knowledge of different types of metals and types of materials and fittings,
-
Liaise with client representatives to ensure adherence to client specifications,
-
Maintain QC control documentation,
-
Assist in regulatory Audits including ABSA, ASME and CWB,
-
Enter and maintain As Built drawings into Acorn and Bluebeam,
-
Measure and record daily and weekly welder parameters,
-
Perform visual inspections,
-
Adopt and incorporate quality methods into their work,
-
Ability to interpret and maintain adherence to customer specifications,
-
Perform other duties as required,
Required Skills:

Strong administrative background,
-
Team player with positive attitude,
-
Strong oral and written communication skills,
-
Strong analytical and organizational skills,
-
Deadline driven with a strong ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment,
-
Willingness to learn new skills,
-
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications,
-
Proficient in Bluebeam,
Required Experience:
-
Minimum five (5+) year experience in a quality inspection-based role,
-
Experience in the ASME/ABSA Pipe and Pressure Vessel fabrication industry
-
Minimum CWB Welding Inspector Level 2,
-
Welding Examiner certificate is an asset,
-
Completion of an applicable trade, technical diploma or degree,
-
Experience with Spoolfab is an asset
