Rambler Fabrication is now looking to add aQuality Control Inspector Leadto the team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • File, organize and maintain documents in a timely and accurate manner,

  • Prepare project deliverables including, quality plans, inspection and test plans, and turnover plans,

  • Possess strong knowledge of welding processes; (GTAW, GMAW, RMD, FCAW, SMAW),

  • Possess strong knowledge of different types of metals and types of materials and fittings,

  • Liaise with client representatives to ensure adherence to client specifications,

  • Maintain QC control documentation,

  • Assist in regulatory Audits including ABSA, ASME and CWB,

  • Enter and maintain As Built drawings into Acorn and Bluebeam,

  • Measure and record daily and weekly welder parameters,

  • Perform visual inspections,

  • Adopt and incorporate quality methods into their work,

  • Ability to interpret and maintain adherence to customer specifications,

  • Perform other duties as required,

Required Skills:

  • Strong administrative background,

  • Team player with positive attitude,

  • Strong oral and written communication skills,

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills,

  • Deadline driven with a strong ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment,

  • Willingness to learn new skills,

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications,

  • Proficient in Bluebeam,

Required Experience:

  • Minimum five (5+) year experience in a quality inspection-based role,

  • Experience in the ASME/ABSA Pipe and Pressure Vessel fabrication industry

  • Minimum CWB Welding Inspector Level 2,

  • Welding Examiner certificate is an asset,

  • Completion of an applicable trade, technical diploma or degree,

  • Experience with Spoolfab is an asset
