YOUR ROLE
The Associate operations analyst liaises between the IT teams and the supply chain, and acts as the first point of contact for system and process related issues.
This analyst works closely with the DC operations, inventory management and IT teams to successfully resolve issues and ensure a smooth flow of operations at the Aldo Group.
With a strong understanding of supply chain and warehouse management processes, this analyst will support the operations teams by deep-diving into issues, finding a resolution, providing training on how to resolve each issue in case of a process gap, and by working with the associated team to revise the process and/or enhance the system to avoid or minimize the issue in the future.
DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
THE RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data by analyzing internal and external reports and escalating or resolving discrepancies in case of misalignment.
- Timely and efficiently resolve idoc failures from our 3PLs by coordinating with internal and external support teams.
- Support the operations teams with improving their processes or requesting an IT enhancement when there is a process gap or system issue that is contributing to or exacerbating the number of idoc failures.
- Understand system integrations between SAP FMS/ECC and the WMS (EWM & 3PL WMS) and business applications (ARUN, MRP, Inventory Adjustments & DC Floor Operations) related to the idocs monitored.
- Document and create process guides detailing various issues and create a decision tree for how to resolve each type of issue.
- Escalate and transfer issues to the IT team for further analysis if the issue cannot be solved by the operations analyst. Monitor and track the progress of the ticket, and provide updates to the operations team if needed.- Work with internal teams to build and test exception management dashboards.
- Document all exception management dashboards and RACI used per leg of the supply chain.
- Act as a control tower to monitor key exceptions in collaboration with the rest of the supply chain team.
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Analytical; able to deep-dive into issues to identify root causes.
- Skilled in analyzing and summarizing large volumes of data.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency.
- Detail-oriented; understands the impact of decisions and actions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communicator.
- Autonomous; able to prioritize tasks and organize work efficiently to resolve issues promptly.
- Positive attitude; curious and eager to learn.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with SAP/WMS systems is an asset.
- Understanding of supply chain and warehouse management processes is an asset.
