Temporary Full-Time (3 positions available)
(Position will run from Mid- October to Mid-March)

This CUPE 2087 Temporary Full-Time Tradesperson 1 position offers 40 hours a week (days/evenings/weekends) for approximately 5 months.

Applicants must be high school graduates (or equivalent) with a valid Class 3 B.C. Driver’s License and air brake certification.

Preferred qualifications include experience in road maintenance, snow plowing, equipment operation, pipe laying, and municipal infrastructure knowledge. Assets include construction tool use, mechanical background, and general municipal repairs and maintenance. Overtime, on-call, and shift work are required.

This is a CUPE Local 2087 bargaining position and offers a starting rate of $36.82 per hour (Pay Grade 3).
