About the role
We are looking for a Sprinkler Fitter to join our Ottawa office. Your work will help the company to adequately meet our clients’ expectations and guarantee them fully compliant fire suppression systems.
You will mainly be responsible the installation, modification and repairs to existing water-based sprinkler systems, foam systems, gas agent systems and fire pump equipment. You will also respond to service calls from customers, and provide training, when necessary.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate needs to be a member in good standing with Local 853 or in the process of gaining membership with Local 853;
- Safety first attitude;
- Ability to read and interpret Blue Prints;
- Ability to work independently is required;
- Team first mentality;
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory;
- Strong customer service skills;
- High level of communication is required.
