About the Job: Based in our Vancouver B.C. office, the Payroll & Accounts Payable Administrator supports accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing while maintaining employee payroll records and ensuring confidentiality. The role also supports high-volume Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, reconciliations, payment processing, and month-end procedures. Responsibilities: Payroll Administration support * Provide administrative support for bi-weekly payroll processing in ADP Workforce Now, including regular hours, overtime, statutory holiday, premium, retroactive, adjustment, bonus, and allowance payments. * Review timecards, payroll entries, employee reports, and payroll registers to help ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing. * Maintain and update employee payroll records in ADP, including hires, terminations, leaves, benefits, RRSP, wage changes, and personal information. * Handle confidential payroll and employee information with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. Accounts Payable Support * Process supplier invoices in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment. * Review invoices for appropriate approvals, coding, and two-way match requirements. * Monitor, review, and resolve outstanding Accounts Payable items. * Prepare month-end accruals, journal entries, Accounts Payable reconciliations, and related month-end procedures. * Process payments, including cheque runs, ACH payments, and wire payments. Required Qualifications & Skills: * Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation – PCP through National Payroll Institute * Recommended three years of payroll experience; * Previous experience processing a high volume of transactions, including cash applications and/or Accounts Payable. * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Experience with AP software and ADP is an asset. * Diploma or degree in Administration, Human Resources or Business. Requirements
