The Application Architect is responsible for designing enterprise-level managed services and translating functional requirements into technical solutions. They will provide technical direction to development teams and act as a liaison between executive stakeholders and technical entities.

A university degree in Computer Science or Software engineering Yes M2 A minimum of twenty (20) years of demonstrated IM/IT experience. 20 years M3 A minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect/Strategist on medium to large complex system development, or COTS and/or SaaS implementation projects. Medium to Large complex projects are those that: o Cross multiple business units and / or organizations. o Involve multiple direct project participants (i.e. more than 10); Operate for an extended period (i.e. more than 9 months); and Involves dealing with business transformation issues as well as technical issues. 6 years M4 A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience working as a Senior Solutions Strategist in the digital health space in the public sector in New Brunswick, Canada. 2 years M5 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. YesDemonstrated experience managing/leading a team of IT professionals. 5 years + S2 Demonstrated experience in the development of Solution, Integration and Functional deliverables identified under Section 11. 10 years + S3 Demonstrated experience in designing enterprise level managed services and processes, that can be applied to multiple clients/solutions. 5 years + S4 Demonstrated experience standing up and delivering functional implementations for provincial or enterprise level solutions, providing experience on maintainability and long-term lifecycles that extend beyond initial implementation. 5 years + S5 Demonstrated ability to collaborate with GNB executive-level stakeholders, acting as a liaison between technical and business entities. 2 years + S6 Demonstrated experience working closely with stakeholders, such as business analysts, project managers, solution strategists, and business teams, to understand functional and nonfunctional requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 5 years + S7 Demonstrated experience providing technical direction and guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment with the overall architectural vision and standards. This includes mentoring developers and ensuring best practices are followed. 3 years + S8 Demonstrated solution design experience re-platforming existing on premises applications to cloud based solutions. 3 years + S9 Demonstrated experience as a Solutions Strategist working with Provincial Cancer Screening Programs within in a Canadian jurisdiction 2 years + S10 Demonstrated experience and familiarity with privacy and security concepts as it relates to Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) in a provincial context.
