THE ROLE The Community Recreation Supervisor plays an important role, providing quality leisure programs, services and facilities to our military members and their families. Our services are tailored to help families with the challenges they may face due to military life and make the most of everyday activities such as going to the playground or day camp. We believe that when members of the Canadian Armed Forces are able to take good care of themselves and their families, they can do better both at home and at work. Whether families need to sign the kids up for swimming lessons, improve their fitness, make friends in a new community, our services are here to help. You will have a diverse portfolio, providing programs for participants of all ages, from preschoolers to seniors. Each day will be different as you supervise, coordinate and manage the details of community fitness, sports, arts and culture programming, civic events and oversee services such as memberships. You will have a chance to expand your skills and share your passions as you mentor junior staff and volunteers all with the goal of improving the quality of life for our military. What you’ll do

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma, CPR and Basic First Aid certifications, and experience in recreation program delivery and personnel supervision. Completion of HIGH FIVE certifications is required by the end of the probation period.
