Key Responsibilities: Perform site maintenance daily using the lawnmower, leaf blower, etc. as well as use the backhoe and forklift to move material around. Assisting the public with directing customers with the drop off of their disposal & recycling of household items Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Landfill experience is an asset Must have a valid driver’s license and access to personal, reliable transportation (site is not accessible by public transit) Backhoe & forklift experience is an asset Knowledge of the handling, storage and disposal of Hazardous Substance and Dangerous Waste is an asset. What you’ll do

Perform daily site maintenance using lawnmowers and blowers, and operate heavy machinery like backhoes and forklifts to move materials. Assist the public with the proper drop-off and recycling of household items.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation. Experience with landfills, heavy machinery, and hazardous waste handling is considered an asset.
