Through lectures, seminars, and/or labs, provide didactic and clinical instruction and assessment of performance in the Dental Therapy programs. 2. Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings. 3. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current dental principles, procedures and techniques and the principles of adult education. 4. Develop and maintain course curriculum. 5. Conduct various aspects of program administration as required. 6. Provide dental therapy services as required. Travel Required: No Education * Graduate of a Dental Therapy Program. Licenses * Eligible for registration and licensure as a dental therapist in Saskatchewan. Other Education and Training * Related baccalaureate degree (or be working toward completion of a related degree). Competencies * A minimum of five (5) years of recent clinical experience, including at least (3) years serving as a subject matter expert in Dental Therapy, in accordance with the Dental Therapist scope of practice. Experience practicing as a dentist will be considered. * Training in educational theory and methodology. * Effective communication skills. * Effective instructional ability. * Effective interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated valuing diversity.
