An international law firm recognized for its expertise in litigation and business law is seeking a lawyer to join its Montreal litigation team. The firm advises Canadian and international clients on strategic matters involving insurance law, construction, civil and professional liability, as well as commercial litigation. This opportunity is suited to a professional looking to grow within a leading global platform known for the quality of its mandates, collaborative culture and exposure to complex cross-border matters. The Role As a Litigation Lawyer, you will be actively involved in a broad range of matters, both in defence and plaintiff-side litigation. You will participate in all stages of litigation mandates, from strategy development to courtroom representation. You will work closely with partners, lawyers, experts and clients in a fast-paced bilingual environment. Responsibilities Participate in civil, commercial and professional litigation matters Advise clients on insurance, construction and professional liability issues Develop and implement litigation strategies tailored to client needs Prepare and conduct examinations Draft pleadings, legal opinions, briefs and strategic correspondence Participate in mediations, hearings and trials Collaborate with experts and external stakeholders Analyze complex legal, factual and technical issues Maintain direct relationships with clients Contribute actively to teamwork and file management Requirements Member in good standing of the Québec Bar 3 to 7 years of relevant litigation experience Experience in insurance, construction, commercial litigation or professional liability (strong asset) Strong legal drafting, analytical and advocacy skills Ability to thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and client-service skills Judgment, rigor and strategic mindset Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken Collaborative and professional approach Benefits Recognized international platform with high-profile mandates Exposure to sophisticated clients and complex matters Collaborative, dynamic and excellence-driven environment Strong professional development and advancement opportunities Culture promoting diversity, inclusion and teamwork Collaboration with recognized professionals Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits

Requirements
Candidates must be a member in good standing of the Québec Bar with 3 to 7 years of relevant litigation experience. Fluency in both French and English and strong analytical and advocacy skills are required.
