About The Role Levitt-Safety is hiring hands-on, mechanically inclined individuals to join our Service team supporting mining operations based in Val-d’Or, Quebec. This is a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) role, requiring travel to remote mining and industrial sites. You’ll work directly in the field - servicing and maintaining vehicle fire suppression systems in demanding, high-impact environments. What You’ll Do Inspect, repair, and maintain fire suppression and life safety equipment Travel to and work on-site at remote locations (including underground mines) in and around Val-d’Or Participate in a fly-in/fly-out rotation schedule Deliver high-quality service and technical support to customers Provide basic training and recommendations to improve safety practices Represent Levitt-Safety as a trusted partner on-site What We’re Looking For Bilingual (French & English) – required Mechanically inclined with a hands-on mindset Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Willingness and ability to work a fly-in/fly-out schedule Comfortable working long shifts in remote and industrial environments Experience with vehicles, heavy equipment, or tools is an asset (not required) Comfortable using mobile devices and basic technology Strong commitment to safety (pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and criminal background check required) What You’ll Get Paid training and industry certifications Competitive pay based on experience Full benefits (medical, dental, vision, EAP) Company-matched RRSP & profit-sharing program Travel and accommodations covered as part of FIFO rotation A team that invests in your growth The opportunity to work for a culture-forward Canadian company Application & Hiring Process Proficiency in both French and English is required for this position to effectively meet the needs of our Francophone and Anglophone customers, with a priority on serving our French-speaking clientele in compliance with Quebec’s Charter of the French Language.
