Job Description On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking an Organizational Design Specialist. Accountabilities Key Job Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Conduct organizational design and job design: Collaborate with relevant business leaders to develop operating model, high level organizational structures and workflows that meet capability requirements, including conducting current status analysis, preparing design options, testing against design criteria, and aligning leadership around design selection and implementation. Develop role level structures and designing jobs, including the development of job descriptions/job profile/job questionnaires. Develop or improve processes, frameworks, standard tools, templates and resources related to organizational design, job evaluation, etc. to support organizational design and compensation service delivery objectives. Participate in the development of a corporate skills taxonomy with associated proficiencies which can involve assessing options, mapping jobs to established benchmark jobs and mapping skills to jobs, etc. Support job evaluations and other org design and compensation initiatives/activities as needed. Deliverables Organizational design proposals, job design deliverables (e.g. job questionnaires, job profile, etc.), service delivery enhancements deliverables, job evaluations, and other defined deliverables associated with org design and comp initiatives. Position Specific Skills Or Qualifications Required Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in organizational design (either internal to HR or within a consulting context), job analysis, job evaluation, and compensation, preferably within a unionized work environment. Korn Ferry Job Evaluation experience and experience with Korn Ferry Architect and Profile Manager are preferred. Experience working within the insurance industry is an asset. Experience with skills framework and skills mapping is an asset. Organizational design certification or a professional designation (CPHR or similar) is an asset.

Requirements
Candidates must have a post-secondary degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and at least 5 years of experience in organizational design and compensation. Proficiency with Korn Ferry tools and experience in unionized environments or the insurance industry is highly preferred.
