MEI Secondary School is seeking qualified applicants for the following teaching position with the intended start date of September 2, 2026.

Science Teacher 9-12(1.0******FTE)
** Full-time continuing position, with an intended start date of September 2nd, 2026

The successful applicant will possess a valid teaching certificate and relevant education and experience in science teaching areas, including senior physics. Relevant education and experience in math is not a requirement but will be considered an asset.

This teaching assignment will include Science 9 and Science 10 courses for the 2026/27 school year, but the successful applicant will be considered for all science courses from grades 9-12 going forward.

The annual salary for each teacher position is determined by qualifications and experience for placement on the MEI Teacher Salary Grid. For the 2026-2027 school year, a full-time BC Certified Teacher salary (with a certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare and with a university degree and a professional teacher education program) ranges from**$69,050 to $113,295.**
