Our client, a Canadian company that distributes and manufactures state-of-the-art instruments used in industrial applications, is looking for a technical sales representative. A company at the forefront of its niche and constantly offering solutions and services to their customers. They specialize in temperature sensors and their ISO 17025 lab offers many services.
Tasks:
- Advise customers on the appropriate products for their application.
- Prepare and communicate quotations to customers.
- Answer customer questions and provide technical assistance as needed.
- Validate customer order information and generate purchase orders in the computer system.
- Cross-sell and suggest complementary products.
- Participate in internal and supplier training programs.
- Provide support to external representatives.
- Perform any other tasks required by the position.

Requirements:
- DEC or equivalent in electrical engineering, instrumentation and control or related fields.
- Experience in B2B sales/customer service in a technical field.
- Must be perfectly bilingual to meet the needs of a bilingual clientele.
- Experience in the field of industrial instrumentation.
- Proficiency in Powerpoint and its effective use to influence small to medium sized groups.

- Be dynamic, autonomous and resourceful.
- Have a technical analytical mind.
- Have a good team spirit.
- Have an interest and aptitude for instrumentation, industrial and technical applications.
- Have excellent communication skills and be a good popularizer.

Salary: 55,000 to $85,000 per year depending on experience Schedule: Day shift, 40 hours per week Status: Permanent
