Timber Mart, a division of Simpcw Resources Group, is seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Seasonal Cashier / Customer Service Associate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people in a fast-paced retail environment. Reporting to the Store Manager, the Seasonal Cashier / Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately processing transactions, maintaining attractive product displays, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the store. Reporting to the Store Manager, the successful candidate enjoys interacting with customers, takes pride in providing outstanding service, and contributes positively to a collaborative team environment. Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications: Cash-handling and customer service experience is preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner both in person and over the phone Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate accountability for outcomes Ability to remain productive through self-direction and initiative Strong multitasking abilities Ability to provide professional and courteous customer service at all times Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Effective verbal communication skills Reliable, punctual, and dependable In this role you will: Greet customers and visitors in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner Respond to customer inquiries and provide outstanding customer service Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions in accordance with company procedures Support the delivery of company-directed promotions and programs Stock shelves and merchandise products in a neat, organized, and appealing manner Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout and sales floor areas Process product returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies Assist customers in locating products and provide product information as required Monitor product displays and restock inventory as needed Help create and maintain a positive shopping experience for customers Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies Perform other duties and tasks as assigned What’s in it for you?
