About The Community
Barrows Junction School is a Nursery to Grade 9 School with 35 students located in Barrows, a small community 1 hour north of Swan River on Hwy 77, 6 hours northwest of Winnipeg. The community is set against the Porcupine Mountains and offers access to a wide variety of outdoor activities.

What You Bring
Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for) A sound knowledge of provincial curricula Previous teaching experience A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology Strong classroom management skills Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset) Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
