Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Install and overhaul heating systems. Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies. Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems. Maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks. Measure and lay out reference points for installation. Troubleshoot heating systems. Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment. Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system. Handle, recover and store refrigerants. Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Employment terms options: Flexible hours.
