Role Description The Consultant Radiologist at MedSciX will provide expert diagnostic imaging services and clinical consultation in an on-site, full-time role based in Brampton, ON. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting a wide range of imaging studies, preparing accurate and timely reports, and collaborating with referring clinicians to guide patient management. The role involves performing and supervising radiological procedures, ensuring appropriate imaging protocols, and maintaining high standards of image quality and patient safety. The Consultant Radiologist will participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and help optimize imaging workflows and utilization. The position also includes staying current with advances in radiology and related subspecialties, and supporting education and knowledge-sharing within the clinical team. Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine with appropriate medical degree and residency training in Radiology, along with current licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a radiologist. Demonstrated expertise in core Radiology and Medical Imaging, including interpretation of X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies. Experience or training in Nuclear Medicine and related imaging modalities, with the ability to integrate findings into comprehensive diagnostic reports. Competence in Mammography and breast imaging techniques, with a focus on accurate detection, characterization, and follow-up of breast pathology. Board certification (or equivalent) in Radiology, with fellowship training in a subspecialty considered an asset. Commitment to patient-centered care, radiation safety, and evidence-based practice, with strong clinical judgment and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide clear, actionable reports and consultations. Ability to work on-site full time in Brampton, ON, with strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage a high-volume imaging workload. Experience with PACS/RIS systems and digital workflows; familiarity with quality assurance, accreditation standards, and continuous improvement in imaging services.
