Role Description The Electricien Câbleur is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC, responsible for electrical assembly and wiring of packaging machinery and control panels. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting electrical schematics, installing and connecting cables, wiring panels and equipment, and performing basic troubleshooting on electrical and electronic components. The role involves collaborating with mechanical assemblers, engineers, and technicians to ensure machines are safely wired, tested, and ready for commissioning. The Electricien Câbleur will also help maintain documentation, follow safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement of electrical assembly processes.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in electricity, including understanding of electrical circuits, safety standards, and industrial power systems. Practical experience in cabling and electrical wiring for machinery or industrial equipment. Skills in panel wiring, including layout, termination, and routing of wires in control panels. Basic knowledge of electronics and control components (sensors, relays, PLC interfaces) used in automated equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Relevant technical diploma or certification in industrial electricity, electromechanics, or a related field. Attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly in a diverse workplace; French and English proficiency are assets.
