They are seeking a Quality Specialist who enjoys working closely with project, production, and design teams to help ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Position Overview

The Quality Specialist plays a key role in supporting quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across active modular construction and project delivery environments.

This position is responsible for helping develop and maintain quality assurance processes, supporting inspections, compliance activities and deficiency management, identifying risks and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure consistent project execution and high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on construction and building systems exposure, with experience supporting inspections, compliance activiv deficiencies, coordination, quality processes, or overall project execution across active construction environments.

This role is best suited to someone who understands how building systems come together in real-world applications, particularly across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, and structural components, rather than someone whose background is focused purely within manufacturing quality environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

Prepare inspection test plans, audit reports, production task lists, and compliance documentation based on approved project designs Support inspections, deficiencies, quality processes, and overall build execution across active modular construction projects Identify, assess, and help mitigate quality-related risks and deficiencies Participate in project kickoff meetings to support alignment on quality expectations and deliverables Liaise with consultants, customers, and internal stakeholders to help ensure compliance with applicable provincial and national building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements Work closely with Production and Project teams to ensure drawings and specifications are accurately reflected in the final product Collaborate across Quality, Design, Project Management, and Manufacturing teams to support successful project delivery Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing deficiencies and improving overall efficiency Maintain strong adherence to health and safety procedures and company standards Assist with additional related responsibilities as required

What You Bring

Technician/Technology diploma or University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Construction, or a related field Minimum 7 years of experience within the construction industry Hands-on exposure to construction sites, building systems coordination, inspections, or project execution environments is strongly preferred Strong understanding of architectural design, construction practices, and building systems Experience with modular construction is considered an asset Strong knowledge of Ontario and National Building Codes Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Bluebeam/Bluebeam Studio Ability to work overtime and/or weekends when required

Annual Base Salary: $75,000 – $95,000
