##Job description
About the role:
OurLitho Production Coordinatoris responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives for the printing and coating processes and supporting Litho operator functions.
What you’ll do:
- Track and record downtimes, stoppages, and parts inventory for all Lithography lines.
- Support Ink Technician to provide redundancy and work with database to track ink inventory.
- Participate in Coating / Printing trials and report outcomes.
- Develop and deliver training materials and best practices for operators.
- Report all Food Safety contamination immediately to their direct Supervisor.
- Close out all Lithography Manufacturing Orders (M.O’s) in M3.
- Investigate and correct ticket issues using M3.
- Investigate quality non-conformances.
- Create / Amend Lockout procedures when required.
- Investigate Lacquer consumption discrepancies.
- Support Roll grinding and Blade grinding to provide redundancy.
- Tracking of scanning issues….specific locations…ie..22IV01, 02A01, 19 Rec, etc
- Support Supervisors on M3 and SPe6.
- Assist with completion of NCR investigations (internal & external) and determine root cause and corrective action.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
- 3+ years in a printing, lithography, or manufacturing environment.
- Intermediate English (verbal & written)
- Strong administrative skills in maintaining records and controls
- Intermediate knowledge using Google Workspace; database experience would be an asset
- Strong organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and comfortable working with large amounts of data / information
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple departments
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
- Positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and be respectful at all times, even under pressure
