***This position is for a remote Customer Service Specialist role***
About This Role
The primary purpose of the Customer Service Specialist is to process inbound service requests received by telephone, email, or through our online tenant portal, create work orders in our computerised maintenance management system (Yardi Facility Manager/Angus Anywhere), and dispatch them to the appropriate Colliers Building Operator. Working in a team environment, the Customer Service Specialist ensures that each request is documented, assigned, and tracked to completion.
Essential Functions and Job Duties
- Receive inbound calls and emails from tenants requesting service
- Create, revise, and dispatch work orders (including outstanding work orders from
- the Tenant Portal).
- Place outbound calls to the appropriate Colliers Building Operators if work orders
- are urgent and escalate accordingly.
- Track sick days to ensure that work orders are dispatched to the appropriate
- Building Operator.
- Must be able to start work at 5:00 AM Monday-Friday local time
- Remote (English/ French language is an asset but not required.)
- Other duties as required.
What You’ll Bring
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- 1-2 years of related work experience in an inbound/outbound contact/call centre, business or office environment is an asset.
- Data entry experience is desirable.
- Requires an excellent customer service approach to handle daily interactions with both internal staff and
- external tenants.
- Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of real estate is desirable.
- Ability to take initiative and deal intuitively with situations, work well under pressure and with minimal
- direction/supervision.
- Active listening skills to determine the caller’s needs and the best course of action
- Ability to effectively and efficiently multitask; recognise and address important matters in a timely manner.
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to draft, edit and format professional emails when
- required
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to handle stressful situations effectively and pleasantly.
- Independent, self-starter, team player.

Area/Location Specific: Vancouver, BC
Approximate Salary Range for Role: $39,130 to $45,000
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
