We are seeking applications to join our team of dedicated educators as a Grade One Classroom Teacher.

Griffin Park School is a dynamic and diverse elementary school, serving approximately 365 students in Prekindergarten to Grade 6, from our local communities and families. We Prioritize Wellness And Active Living

100% of benefit premiums paid (Extended Health, Dental, Vision, Extended Disability, Life, AD&D) Health Spending Account Paid Sick Leave of 20 days for the first year and 90 days thereafter. Ideal Candidates Skills & Abilities

Previous experience in Division One classrooms. Understanding and appreciation of Grasslands Public Schools mission and values. Able to create a classroom environment that supports diversity and inclusion. Respect and value all individuals with sensitivity to diversity. Personal integrity and trustworthiness. Understanding of how educators impact the community. Strong instruction and classroom management skills. Strong communication skills. Able to quickly build trust, rapport and strong relationships with students, colleagues and our community.

Education And Certifications

Bachelor of Education

Valid Alberta Teaching Certification

Successful applicants will be required to submit before start date

Current Criminal Record Check (CRC) with Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

Original document reported within the last 6 months of hire date; condition of employment
