- Spearhead safety training programs, ensuring relevance, compliance, and effectiveness
- Drive safety culture through behavioral change, influence, and engagement, ensuring safety becomes a core aspect of our operational DNA
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulations, leveraging audits, training, and expert consultations
- Maintain a visible and proactive role in the project safety process, acting as a key point for safety process communication and enhancements
- Foster relationships with external professionals and organizations to stay abreast of best practices and regulatory compliance
What we would like from you
- 10+ years of progressive experience in H&S roles, including industry experience in construction or oil and gas
- A Bachelor's degree in health and safety or the equivalent combination of experience
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation and ACSA Auditor certification, or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software applications
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with a focus on ethical, collaborative relationship-building
