About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, inventory management, and shipping, while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency across all functions. You will work closely with warehouse staff, suppliers, and transport partners to maintain smooth operations and meet critical timelines.
Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, transfers, and shipping.
- Ensure accurate documentation and inspection of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and improve space utilization.
- Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records.
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures and best practices. Team Coordination & Communication
- Provide clear and effective communication with warehouse staff and leadership.
- Ensure procedures are understood, followed, and continuously improved.
- Promote a team-oriented and safety-conscious work environment.
- Collaborate with suppliers and carriers to resolve operational issues. Process Improvement & Reporting
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor with reporting and general oversight.
- Monitor and evaluate warehouse KPIs to drive performance and quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; business-related degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar warehouse or logistics coordination role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP and/or WMS systems.
- Forklift certification and inspection knowledge is an asset.
- Flexible with work hours as needed.
Salary: $ 60 000 per year. Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday. Status: Permanent – Paid Weekly
