All of our students follow the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) beginning in PK3, and personalised, student-centred learning is at the heart of everything we do.

Through our co-teaching model, every K–2 classroom is staffed with both a Lead Teacher and an Associate Teacher, allowing for meaningful differentiation and personalised instruction.

What You'll**Do**

You will work closely with Lead Teachers and Learner Support Coordinators to enhance student learning and well-being through:

• Supporting the planning and implementation of engaging daily learning experiences
• Actively differentiating and personalizing instruction
• Providing academic, social, and emotional support for students
• Contributing to assessment and evaluation of student progress
• Helping students become self-regulated, confident learners
• Creating and maintaining an organized, welcoming classroom environment
• Supporting PYP implementation and ongoing development
• Participating in collaborative planning, staff meetings, and professional learning
• Assisting with Before and After-School Care (ASC) supervision
• Supporting Specialist teachers, school events, assemblies, and student-led conferences
• Getting involved in the co-curricular programme for at least two terms
• Occasionally TOC-ing in other classrooms, including PK
• Developing and reviewing a Teacher Professional Growth Plan (TPGP) with your coach

Who You AreCandidatesmust:

• Be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Meet all BC teaching certification requirements
• Hold a valid, age-appropriate First Aid Certificate

Work Hours

• 8:00****am –****4:00****pm , with occasional extensions on:
• Club days (to 4:30 pm)
• After-School Care days (to 5:00 pm)
• Availability for new student assessments on one or two Saturdays per year is required

**Compensation ****_ & _ ****Benefits ****__ **

The __salary __for __this __role is $61,800 __plus a retention __bonus __of __$10,000 payable in June 2027.
