Teknion Custom Solutions, a leading custom wood furniture manufacturer in Calgary, is seeking a detail-oriented Final Assembler to join our dedicated team. This position involves the detailed and precise assembly of furniture components into finished products. You will focus on tasks such as building drawer boxes and attaching hardware, doors, and drawer fronts, ensuring every piece is completed to the highest standard before it reaches the customer.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Final assembly of products through our production line.
• Assemble cabinets, desks, boardroom tables and other items.
• Attach hardware, doors, and drawer fronts.
• Build drawer boxes and other production pieces.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Understand and follow standard safety rules and procedures.

PREREQUISITES

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent skills and experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or furniture assembly.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects 50+ lbs.
• Have a general knowledge of how to use hand power tools on the shop floor.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize work activities based upon primary duties.
• Is inquisitive by nature and driven by the "pursuit of excellence" to consistently ensure constant growth and achievement.
• Demonstrates good initiative working safely, reporting and participating in Environmental Health and Safety.
