We’re Hiring: Part-Time Permanent Barista – Mission Café

Join our Mission café team — a fast-paced, community-driven environment where consistency, teamwork, and hospitality matter every day.

We are looking for one Permanent Part-Time Barista to join our Mission location. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in busy environments, works well under pressure, and takes pride in delivering warm, consistent guest experiences.

Position Type

• Permanent Part-Time (this is not a seasonal role)
• Minimum commitment required year-round
• Seasonal students or short-term applicants will not be considered

What We’re Looking For

• No previous barista experience is required; however café, hospitality, restaurant, or retail experience are welcome
• Strong team mindset — someone who supports others and communicates clearly under pressure
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient in a high-volume café environment
• Full-time flexibility within a part-time structure (2–3 days/week, approx. 8–14 hours minimum)
• Mandatory weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays required)
• Availability for statutory holidays and key business periods (including peak service days and community events) is strongly expected, as part of supporting the team and café operations
• At least one weekday availability required for training and support
• Immediate availability strongly preferred

The Role

This is a busy café where speed, accuracy, and teamwork are essential. You will be expected to move between tasks efficiently while maintaining high hospitality standards at all times.
