##**TheGIS Practicum Studentwill provide general GIS support****to support the maintenance and updating of ENMAX’s Power Distribution System.**During this term, you will gain hands on experience that can be applied towards your GIS education.

##Major Responsibilities:

• ##Assistin maintenance andupdating of****ENMAX’s Power Distribution System’s infrastructure assets using ArcGIS/ArcFM.

• ##Create, revise, andmaintainvarious working drawings, circuit maps, schematic drawings, charts, graphs, forms, and other miscellaneous drawings as they pertain to the Power Distribution System.

• ##Modify andmaintaina variety of databases specifically related to ENMAX Assets.

• ##Maintain project time accounting information.

• ##Interpret and integrate relevant data from multiple sources,ie. Maps, engineering drawings.

• ##Prepare GIS cartographic products.

##Education Required:

• ##Enrolledin a GIS related degree or certification program that has a work requirementcomponentas part of its curriculum and/oraccreditation.

##Qualifications & Experience:

• ##Experience in using GIS, Mapping, and CAD software (ESRI Products & Drafting data)

• ##Working knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Office suite of software products including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

• ##You must have good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of customers.

• ##You must be a self-motivated team player andhave the ability tolearn and adapt to new and changing technologies and business processes
