Role Overview
The Regulatory Compliance Assistant supports the organization by maintaining accurate documentation, tracking compliance activities, and assisting with audits and regulatory processes. This role ensures that records are organized, reporting is accurate, and internal teams are supported in meeting compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Administration, Documentation & Reporting
- Track and maintain compliance documentation for accurate reporting and easy access during audits.
- Review reports, such as annual class lists, to flag potential compliance issues.
- Prepare and distribute compliance-related reports to management as needed.
- Maintain organized records of audits, training sessions, and corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing policy documents, enrollment contracts, affiliation agreements, and other compliance materials.
- Help manage the Compliance Calendar, ensuring key regulatory and reporting deadlines are monitored.
Regulatory Compliance Support
- Stay informed about relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in interpreting regulatory requirements and sharing guidance with internal teams.
- Support compliance initiatives and help evaluate internal processes to meet regulatory standards.
Audit & Risk Support
- Assist with internal audits and inspections, including documentation and scheduling.
- Identify potential compliance issues and support corrective action plans.
- Coordinate with external auditors or inspectors as required.
- Monitor compliance trends and report key observations to management.
Policy & Procedure Assistance
- Support the review and updating of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Help ensure policies and procedures are effectively communicated to staff.
Training & Guidance
- Assist in organizing and delivering compliance training sessions for employees.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
Stakeholder Communication & Research
- Build and maintain positive working relationships within the organization and with external partners.
- Help monitor changes in regulations or industry trends and suggest updates to compliance programs.
- Support research on competitors and new markets to inform program development.
- Participate in compliance meetings and committees as needed.

Qualifications & Education
- Diploma or degree inBusiness Administration, Office Management, Education Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience inadministrative support or compliance tracking, preferably in education.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suiteand basic reporting tools.
- Familiarity withcompliance processes and regulatory requirements
