About the role
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring aSemi-Driveron a permanent basis on our Transportation Operations team.
This position requires on-site work and is based inCalgary, AB.
Hours of Work: Tuesday to Friday, 4:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

What you’ll do:
- Operate a semi-truck unit which may include rural and city deliveries, city pickups, and fueling/spotting of trailers.
- Ensure trailers are clean for loading by sweeping and assisting with washouts.
- Perform minor mechanical work on trucks, semi-trailers and reefers when required, and perform trailer inspections and report on condition of equipment.
- Pick up Cargill beef loads when required.
- Ensure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed.
- Other duties as required.
Who you’ll work with: **The Team:**You will work closely with other transportation professionals and will report into the Senior Supervisor, Transportation Operations. This team strives to cultivate a culture of safety, communication, and collaboration.
**The Customers:**You will demonstrate customer focus by ensuring deliveries are made in a safe and efficient manner.
Why it matters: We help feed Western Canada by providing fresh groceries and wholesale solutions to independent retail stores, restaurants and other food establishments in communities large and small.
Who you are: You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and :
- Have 6 months of Class 1A semi-truck driving experience and less than 3 moving vehicle offences in the last 2 years
- Have a grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Can pass an in-cab evaluation by an appointed transportation individual.
