About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Tool Crib Assistant in our Calgary office. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for maintaining the tool crib area and fulfilling tool crib orders; ultimately ensuring exceptional service is provided to our external and internal clients.
Responsibilities:

Log test equipment in/out of an asset management program

Maintain records on the usage of and status of tool crib equipment

Inspect, clean and test electrical tools and testing sets for defects

Report and track damaged equipment

Load and unload electrical equipment
-
Manage scheduling of Magna vehicles, rental vehicles, and equipment

Complete billing documentation and submit invoices to accounting as required

Order equipment from vendors and complete all necessary documentation

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the tool crib to ensure a safe and productive workplace

Complete pick up and deliveries within the Alberta area when required

Mark tool crib items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment

Provide assistance or direction to other regional stockrooms, warehouses, or storage workers

Assist with Shipping & Receiving

Assist with other duties as required

Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds

Customer service experience
-
Proficient computer skills
-
Proven safety orientation
-
Ability to work shift work including evenings and weekends
-
Experience working in a Tool Crib, Engineering or Field Services environment would be an asset
-
Knowledge of electrical equipment would be an asset
-
Strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
-
Excellent time management skills with a strong attention to detail
-
Professional team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-
Valid driver’s license
