- Assist with onboarding processes, including preparing new hire documentation and coordinating training schedules in Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Maintain and organize personnel records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Develop digital skills in the workplace – such as understanding proper etiquette on various communication channels with supervisors and coworkers via email, instant messaging, texts, etc.
- Support the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interview schedules.
- Identify areas where technology can be integrated into processes to best streamline and enhance staff and member experiences - including digital, AI, or tech integrations.
- Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, including employee engagement activities and communication efforts.
- Respond to routine HR inquiries from staff and escalate more complex questions as needed.
- Help track employee attendance, leaves, and other HR metrics to ensure proper documentation.
- Contribute to special HR projects as assigned, such as policy updates or event planning.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all tasks.
Qualifications:

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and aptitude to learn new systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Friendly, eager to learn, and passionate about the YMCA mission.
