What You¿ll Do
As a TESA employee, you may be placed on assignments ranging from one day to three months at various City work locations playing a key role in helping The City meet its short term staffing needs. We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds, education, and experience. Assignments may include, but are not limited to:
- Administrative support and reception.
- Clerical tasks, data entry, and records management.
- Customer service.
- Financial, accounting, and legal support.
- Purchasing, warehouse, and inventory clerk roles
Qualifications
- A High School diploma or equivalency (e.g. GED) and at least 2 years of directly related experience is required.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and One Drive will be considered an asset.
- A completed certificate in Office Administration (or equivalent) will also be an asset.
- Knowledge of Content Server/Livelink, Physical Objects, PeopleSoft and SAP will be an asset.
- Success in this role requires the following competencies:
- Well-developed communication skills.
- The ability to adapt to diverse, fast paced environments.
- The ability to collaborate and work independently.
- Advanced organizational and time management skills.
- A commitment to customer focus.
Pre-employment Requirements
- A security clearance will be conducted.
- Applicants will be tested for appropriate skills.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications.
**Note:**Location of assignments will vary; successful applicants will be required to attend City of Calgary facilities city-wide.
**Note:**Interviews and hiring will take place throughout the duration of the posting.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience.
Days of Work: Days of work will vary based on
operational requirements.
Hours of work: Hours vary based on operational
requirements with shifts between 7am - 5pm Monday
to Friday.
There are no guaranteed number of hours.
