We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) who is passionate about patient care, continuous learning, and helping shape the future of healthcare.
Working directly with Dr. Olivier Clerk, Founder and Chief Medical Officer, the successful candidate will become an integral member of a nationally recognized team specializing in advanced minimally invasive spine and musculoskeletal care.

As an Advanced Practice Nurse, you will function as a key clinical professional within a multidisciplinary environment that includes physicians, nurses, imaging technologists, researchers, and administrative teams. You will help support patients throughout their care journey while contributing to clinical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and coordinate patient care throughout the treatment journey
- Prepare and assist with advanced image-guided spine, musculoskeletal, and pain management procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment options, procedures, recovery expectations, and follow-up care
- Coordinate investigations, referrals, and multidisciplinary care plans
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience through compassionate, patient-centered care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives that support patient safety and clinical excellence
- Maintain patient dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities (where applicable)
- Conduct independent patient consultations and assessments
- Order laboratory investigations and diagnostic imaging within scope of practice
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate directly in procedural planning and clinical decision-making
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Research & Innovation Responsibilities For candidates interested in research and innovation, this role may include opportunities to: · Participate in clinical trials and innovative treatment programs
- Recruit, consent, and follow research participants in accordance with study protocols
- Collect, organize, and manage research data
- Assist with scientific publications, abstracts, and conference presentations
- Support implementation and evaluation of emerging technologies and treatment approaches
- Contribute to the advancement of Interventional Pain, Spine, and Regenerative Medicine

Qualifications & Experience Required
Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification OR Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Nurse Practitioner designation
- Prescriptive authority
- Diagnostic imaging ordering privileges
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
Additional Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical setting
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and professional excellence
Preferred / Assets
- Experience in pain management, surgery, orthopedics, anesthesia, radiology, emergency medicine, or critical care
- Experience supporting image-guided procedures or interventional services
- Previous involvement in clinical research or research coordination activities
- Familiarity with diagnostic imaging and electronic medical record systems
- Interest in innovation, emerging healthcare technologies, and continuous learning
Previous experience in Interventional Pain Medicine is considered an asset but is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate and place significant value on potential, curiosity, initiative, and work ethic.

Work Schedule & Environment
- Schedule: Full-time, weekday schedule with occasional flexibility based on clinical and program requirements
- Location: In-person at Beam Radiology clinics in Calgary, Alberta
- Travel: Minimal local travel between clinical sites may be required
