Key Information
Hours: Project dependent; minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October) Hourly rate is dependent on experience. Health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered.
Job Description
The ability to read and understand technical guides, drawings and specifications is required. Manual dexterity and ability to use carpentry tools safely. Able to lift up to 50lbs. Good hand-eye coordination, basic math skills, and the ability to take clear safety directions on busy job sites. Comfortable working at heights. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. Manual dexterity and ability to use carpentry tools safely.
Experience and Certification Requirements
Carpentry Apprenticeship or equivalent is required. CSTS 2020, and WHMIS 2015 are required. Fall Protection & Rescue, Aerial Platform, Confined Spaces, Rigging/Hoisting and Hand. Signals, and First Aid/CPR certification would be an asset. Proficient English Language skills required. A reliable means of transportation is required. Education: Carpentry Apprenticeship or equivalent is required.
