NORTH WELLINGTON HEALTH CARE PALMERSTON AND DISTRICT HOSPITAL POSTING #2026-149 MEDICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGIST (CASUAL) Our Medical Radiation Technologists hold a valued role in our talented Diagnostic Imaging department team.
A casual Medical Radiation Technologist position is available in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Palmerston and District Hospital.
This position is unionized with OPSEU.

REQUIREMENTS: CMRITO Designation Membership with CAMRT OAMRT (asset to have) Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment Demonstrated effective communications, organization and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with many and varied internal and external individuals, groups, and agencies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Other duties as required
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Satisfactory performance and attendance required Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired HOURS OF WORK: As per department schedule Must be available for all shifts On an as needed basis
SALARY: $36.84 -$50.24 per hour
