About the role
Job Description We’re looking for a detail‑oriented, analytical thinker who’s passionate about data, digital performance, and building a career in media. As a Paid Media Analyst, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing campaigns to life through flawless execution, rigorous measurement, thoughtful experimentation, and clear performance insights.
This role will work closely with Strategy Lead and our Performance Solutions team to support the launch and ongoing optimization of an eCommerce platform, an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to a high‑visibility, high‑growth business. You’ll gain experience across activation, analytics, testing, client communication, and performance storytelling, with significant room to grow your skillset and career within our agency network.
What You’ll Do Campaign Execution & QA
- Set up digital campaigns in MediaOcean with precision, ensuring all trafficking details, flighting, and billing requirements are accurate.
- Own end‑to‑end tagging and tracking implementation for all creative assets, establishing clean, reliable measurement foundations.
- Build and launch paid search and social campaigns directly in-platform across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, and Google/Bing, ensuring all targeting, bidding, and measurement parameters follow best practices.
- Conduct meticulous performance QA, pacing reviews, and in‑flight monitoring to ensure campaigns run smoothly and deliver against objectives.
Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Build recurring performance reports that clearly outline what happened, why, and what should be done next.
- Visualize data that clearly defines the user journey from initial ad exposure to purchase to repeat purchase.
- Translate platform data into meaningful insights that connect directly to business outcomes.
- Support in‑platform optimizations in collaboration with the Performance Strategy Lead and activation teams.
Testing & Experimentation
- Help shape and execute ongoing A/B and multivariate tests, from setup to measurement to insights.
- Maintain and evolve test documentation, ensuring learnings are captured and actioned.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement based on data patterns and trends.
Client Collaboration
- Join weekly client touchpoints to walk through performance updates and answer data‑focused questions.
- Help explain analytics, results, and optimization decisions in a clear, approachable way.
- Support the development of performance narratives for presentations, planning sessions, and reviews.
Operational & Data Excellence
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in all tagging, tracking, reporting, and performance data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain streamlined workflows, templates, and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of measurement, reporting, and optimization processes.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in digital media, analytics, trafficking, or performance marketing (agency experience an asset).
- A strong working understanding of digital platforms - Google, Meta, or other major ad platforms is preferred.
- Experience with UTM/tagging, pixel implementation, or basic tracking methodology.
- A passion for data storytelling and the ability to explain results in a clear, structured way.
