Position Overview

The Concrete Labour - Chuteman at Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. plays a vital role in the concrete pouring process by managing the concrete chute, ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of concrete to the desired locations. This position supports the concrete finishing team and contributes to the overall quality and timeliness of concrete placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the concrete chute during pouring to ensure smooth and accurate delivery of concrete.
• Assist in positioning the chute to direct the flow of concrete as needed by the finishing crew.
• Clean and maintain concrete chutes and related equipment to prevent buildup and ensure proper function.
• Support concrete finishers and labourers by handling tools, materials, and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform general labour duties on the concrete site as required.
• Communicate effectively with the team to coordinate concrete placement activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in concrete labour or construction is an asset but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license is an asset but not required.
