Position Overview

Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators skilled in excavator and dozer operations. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, and site preparation tasks essential to our construction projects. Ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision in all operations is paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and dozers to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks in compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues.
• Work closely with supervisors and crew to coordinate activities and ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance as required.
• Adhere strictly to safety standards and best practices on all job sites.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transport of equipment and materials as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience operating excavators and dozers in a construction environment.
• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator certifications/licenses.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation.
• Physical ability to handle the demands of the job and work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel to various job sites as required.
